How to Live Stream Using OnePlay Application

Many people want to stream their favorite games to popular streaming platforms such as YouTube or Twitch but they have a Low-End PC causing lags in their gameplay while streaming, But fear not! OnePlay has bought a feature that uses our powerful cloud machines resources instead of your Low-End PC resources to provide the best quality to your live streams with no lag! This forum is gonna be a complete breakdown on how to use this feature for both YouTube and Twitch, it’s a step by step guide so you don’t face any issues during the process!

  1. Getting your stream key from your desired platform :
    Now to get started with this feature you require a stream key so our streaming software can know where to stream to, if you do not know where to get your stream key from; do not worry we will guide you through for both platforms.

  2. How to get your stream key from YouTube :
    For YouTube, go to “https://www.youtube.com/” and sign to your google account and click “create” that will be visible on top right of your profile beside notification and mic icons

After that click on “Go Live” this will redirect you to YouTube studio dashboard and right below your dashboard you should see your stream key written and hidden.
Simply click on “copy” and you will be ready for the next step!

  1. How to get your stream key from Twitch :
    To get your stream key from Twitch, go to “Twitch.tv” and sign in to your Twitch account. Click on your profile icon on top right as shown in the screenshot and click on “Creator dashboard” this will redirect you to creator dashboard page

In Creator dashboard click on “Settings” and click on “Stream”, In there you will see “Primary stream key” and right beside there click on “Copy” That’s it now you have your stream key for Twitch!

Important Tip!: Never ever share your stream key with strangers or anyone else that you do not trust of! They can directly go live without your permission or sign in to your account!

  1. Pasting your stream key into OnePlay client :
    I hope everyone has their stream key ready to use! Now open your OnePlay client in your Windows or Mac and open the desired game you wish to stream on and click on the live stream icon

Now you have clicked on the button, and in there for YouTube platform simply click on YouTube and paste your stream key and click on “Save” For twitch users, you just need to click on “Twitch” and paste it in there and click on “save”

Voila now you have you have your stream set-up complete!

  1. How to start your stream in OnePlay client (Windows/Mac) :
    If you have successfully completed all the steps in previous session, you should be good to go! Now simply launch the desired game you wish to stream and launch it. After getting connected to the rig press the following keybind for Windows “Ctrl+shift+alt+L” and for Mac simply press “Control+shift+option+L” if you did everything correctly you should see this menu Now for Youtube, simply press “Ctrl+shift+alt+1” or replace the number shown beside the platform name and for Mac alternative would be “Control+shift+option+1”.

For twitch it should appear in the same menu, just press the number shown beside the platform name “Ctrl+shift+alt+#” for windows and “Ctrl+shift+option+L” for Mac (# = Number of the platform beside the name) after pressing the keybind it should automatically start and show the message “Live stream started” and you are set for streaming and the stream should be fed to your Live stream automatically.

  1. How to End your stream in OnePlay client (Windows/Mac) :
    If you want to end your Live Stream press the following keybind for Windows “Ctrl+shift+alt+L” and for Mac simply press “Control+shift+option+L”, you will get the message “Live Stream Stopped” and Live Stream feed will be disconnected from your streaming account.

Note: As of making this forum there is no Mic support in the following platforms and we are working on bringing it! Common troubleshooting steps:

  1. If the platform names isn’t appearing when you are pressing the keybinds you might be launching OnePlay via browser and redirect to client. This will not work unfortunately and you would need to launch the game directly via OnePlay client.
  2. If you see “Live stream service failed” you should contact our support for further resolutions for the problem! We are open to help you
