Hello Gamers,

The games in the “Install & Play” section are not pre-installed on OnePlay Cloud Gaming’s servers, unlike those in the main library. This section allows you to play additional games from your owned collection by installing them on our remote gaming VM on your choice of server.

Key Differences:

  • Library Games: Pre-installed and ready to launch immediately upon signing in with your third-party platform credentials (e.g., Steam, Epic Games Store).
  • Install & Play Games: Require a quick installation process on OnePlay’s servers before you can play. This enables access to a broader selection of games that may not be part of the pre-installed library.

Steps to Install Game in VM :

  1. Select a Game: Choose a game and click on “Install & Play” (You must own license to that Game on steam, or epic store)
  2. Accept the License Agreement: You’ll be prompted to accept the game’s license agreement.
  3. Configure Your Settings : Configure your game launch settings for the session.
  4. Click “Save and Launch”: This launches a gaming session on OnePlay’s remote desktop.
  5. Installation: The game will install on the remote server, this only takes few minutes.
  6. Sign In: After installation, log in to the game’s launcher (e.g., Steam, Epic Games) with your credentials.
  7. Play: Once signed in, you can start playing the game as you would on a local device.

Note: Always quit the game properly through its menu to ensure your progress is saved to the third-party platform’s cloud.

Important Information

  • Game Ownership: You must own the game on a supported platform. OnePlay does not provide free access to games requiring a license.
  • Supported Games: Only games listed in the “Install & Play” section can be installed. You cannot install unsupported or third-party games not listed in this section or the library.
  • Performance: Game performance may vary depending on your internet connection, device, and subscription plan. For the best experience, we recommend a stable internet connection with at least 15 Mbps for 1080p gaming and low latency (preferably under 30 ms). A wired connection or 5GHz Wi-Fi is ideal.
  • Game Launch Limits: Some games may have restrictions on the number of daily launches due to third-party platform policies. Check the specific game’s details for more information.
