Hello Gamers,
We have observed that Win 11 VMs are having issues with Game Disks and user is left with no disk error or is being asked to install the game, or only C drive is visible in store launcher.
Here are the methods to FIX the above issues
If User is Facing Issues in Steam Launcher Follow these steps -
- Go to Steam Menu and Click on Settings
- On Settings Menu click on Storage Option
- On Storage Option click on “Add Drive + “option
- Add available Drive D, E or G
- Now you can play your game disk issue is fixed
If User is Facing Issues in Rockstar Launcher Follow these steps -
- Go to Rockstar Launcher Settings
- Find “Scan for Existing Installation on your system”
- Click on Scan Now
- Wait for sometime and check your Launcher Library
- That’s it you can see all your owned games, just click on Play and start the Game
If User is Facing Issues in Epic Games Launcher Follow these steps -
- In Library, find the game.
- Click three dots (⋯) next to it and click on Manage.
- Verify → Scans your drives, confirms existing files, repairs if needed (won’t delete saves).
- Else, Click install button → Select existing folder → Launcher auto-verifies (no re-download).
