Here is the Guide to Troubleshoot various performance issues In Oneplay

KeyBoard and Controller Shortcuts for All Devices : OnePlay Keyboard and Controller Shortcuts

Stutters During GamePlay :

  1. If you are facing stutters during gameplay, make sure to check if shaders are built for the game, if not wait for shaders to build and then proceed.
  2. If you are still facing issues, check if in-game resolution and FPS matches your stream settings, if your stream is at 1080p 60 fps but in-game settings are 1440p 60fps/120fps, you will face stutters
  3. Make sure you don’t put game settings to max, All games are optimized for Very High and High presets, remember increasing the settings will overheat the GPU causing stutters, hence make sure to play on default settings to preserve hardware integrity for longer playtime.
  4. Another cause for stutters is due to network issues, Follow here to troubleshoot your network
  5. If you are still facing issues, try playing via webrtc/chrome browser and check if issue persists
  6. For users on Android Mobile/ Android TVs, Go to settings ( by pressing select + X for 3 seconds on controller or right swipe the left corner on screen) → select advanced options → Frame Pacing → Choose “prefer smoothest video” → click on OK.

Screen Tearing During GamePlay :

  1. Make sure to turn on v-sync and frame pacing in-stream settings and in-game settings
  2. Try not to set FPS above your monitor’s supported limit, means if your monitor can support 60 FPS and you set stream FPS to 120, you are bound to face screen tearing
  3. Check if in-game resolution and FPS matches your stream settings, if your stream is at 1080p 60 fps but in-game settings are 1440p 60fps/120fps, you will face stutters
  4. For users on Android Mobile/ Android TVs, Go to settings ( by pressing select + X for 3 seconds on controller or right swipe the left corner on screen) → select advanced options → Frame Pacing → Choose “prefer smoothest video” → click on OK.

Game Took Too Long to Respond :

I. [Session Timeout due to Game Update] :

  1. This issue can happen due to large game updates which can cause session to terminate if game is not started within 10 minutes of session launch
  2. In this condition please create a support ticket on mail or discord or let any of the mods know about the game update, please specify game name,update size and store you faced update in.
  3. Try not to start session again and again as this will again start updating the game hence please tell support team to get the game updated

II. [Other Causes of Session Timeout] :

  1. Other causes for this issue can be no input in-game for longer duration, to avoid this keep pressing random keys a few times even on loading/shader compilation screen to avoid timeout.
  2. Network Issues on webrtc, if you are playing on webrtc, its possible that due to unstable network you can face session timeout error, try changing network and play to fix this issue
  3. You are using a wired controller, using wired controller may cause session timeout in some cases as wired controllers are now obsolete and may not be recognized by our system due to limited driver availability
  4. If you still face issues, create a support ticket on mail or discord and team will get it checked.

Disk Issues or No Disk Attached :

  1. Please follow this guide here to troubleshoot disk issues for any game.

Packet Drops Detected Lower Your Bitrate:

  1. This issue happens if there is not enough bandwidth available on network to provide a proper streaming experience
  2. Quit stream session by pressing (Ctrl + alt + shift + Q ) twice, and click on resume button on screen, reduce your streaming bitrate and click on “save settings and launch”
  3. If you still facing issues then try playing on webrtc/webplay via chrome browser.
  4. If above steps didn’t fixed your issue then Follow here to troubleshoot your network.

  1. This issue happens because rockstar launcher still uses old sdk for its games, which is incompatible with win 11 systems.

Unable to Run Game Inside VM Error:

  1. This error pops-up with games having anti-cheat enabled, however if this happened to you in any game please create a support ticket via discord or email and inform support team with game name and game store

  2. Support team will check and assist accordingly and please be informed if no fix is present game will be removed from oneplay, oneplay is not liable for any refunds or compensation in such cases as its developer’s decision to implement VM blocking anti-cheat in their games
